Where HealthFlow is stronger

The clearest gap is commercial, not technical. CrelioHealth's own India pricing page (creliohealth.com/in/lab-software/lims-pricing/, seen July 2026) lists named tiers with numbers (which is more transparent than many competitors) but layers an 18% GST, a ₹10,000 to ₹50,000 onboarding fee, and an annual contract that, in the page's own words, means "plan tier cannot be changed mid-contract year" on top of the headline monthly figure. HealthFlow's plans, ₹399 to ₹1,999/mo, are billed month-to-month with no onboarding fee, no lock-in, and a 10-day free trial to run before you sign anything.

The second gap is the referral workflow itself. CrelioHealth's public description of its provider portal (creliohealth.com/solutions/provider-portal/) is about booking and visibility for referring doctors: test bookings, report access, patient history, prescription upload. We could not find any mention on their site of the portal calculating a commission or running a settlement. HealthFlow's Pay-Run (higher plans) is built to close that exact gap: a per-test commission rule computed the moment a test is billed, and a single run at period-end that settles every referring doctor, consultant, collection centre and outside lab, each with a WhatsApp payslip and an exportable statement. Put together: if you run an independent lab or a small chain and your priority is a transparent bill, a fast start, and getting commissions actually paid out rather than just reported, HealthFlow is the closer fit.

Where CrelioHealth may be the better fit

This is deliberately the honest part. CrelioHealth is an established, larger platform, and for several real reasons it will suit some labs better than HealthFlow does today:

Scale and credibility. CrelioHealth's own site claims "2,500+ Lab Businesses Worldwide" and states adherence to HIPAA, ISO 27001:2013, SOC 2 and GDPR (creliohealth.com/in/, July 2026). If your buying committee wants a vendor with that footprint and those certifications on paper, CrelioHealth has them; HealthFlow does not hold third-party security certifications today. What HealthFlow does offer is a specific, verifiable posture: your data in its own isolated PostgreSQL database in ISO 27001-certified data centres in Germany, encrypted at rest and in transit, behind role-based access and a database-enforced append-only audit trail, built with India's DPDP Act in mind. Bundled instrument integration. Their published India tiers each include a set number of analyzers out of the box: 3 on Standard rising to 6 on Premium, per their pricing page. HealthFlow offers analyzer interfacing as a quoted add-on rather than bundling it into every tier.
Accreditation-oriented tooling. CrelioHealth's own blog positions the product around NABL ISO 15189 and NABH audit-trail and QC workflows. If a dedicated accreditation-audit toolset is a priority for your lab, this is a genuine area where they have built specifically for it and HealthFlow has not.
Broader adjacent suite. CrelioHealth also offers radiology (PACS) and inventory products alongside its core LIS. If you need imaging workflow or stock management in the same platform as your lab software, that is outside HealthFlow's current scope.

One thing we could not verify either way: whether CrelioHealth's WhatsApp report delivery sends from the lab's own dedicated number or a shared one. Their public material confirms the channel exists but does not state the sending identity, so we're not asserting a claim on it.
