Switching from LabSmart to HealthFlow
LabSmart (labsmartlis.com) is a genuinely well-reviewed, low-priced reporting tool with a large review base built over years. That is a real asset and we say so plainly below. This page is for labs currently on LabSmart who have hit its edges: an annual billing commitment behind the monthly-looking headline price, a doctor-relationship tool built around case access rather than commission settlement, and WhatsApp delivery whose sending number isn't stated on their public site.
In short
Moving off LabSmart is not a hard migration, because you are not required to move your history to start: HealthFlow's onboarding builds your test catalogue, reference ranges, price list, doctor list and commission rules straight from the files you already keep, and full-history data migration is available separately from Rs 9,999 if you want your old records searchable too. What you're leaving behind
None of this is invented: it comes from LabSmart's own public site, as of July 2026. Their pricing page shows a Basic plan at "₹417/month," but that figure is explicitly captioned "only for your estimation": the plan is actually sold as an annual commitment billed at ₹4,999 + GST/year, or ₹2,999 + GST for a half-year, not as a real month-to-month subscription. Their homepage devotes a section to a "Doctor portal" that gives referring doctors real-time access to their own cases, framed around building trust with referrers, but nothing on their public pages describes computing a commission per test or settling a payout to that referrer. And while "WhatsApp, SMS & email lab reports" is advertised as a feature, their site does not state whether WhatsApp delivery comes from the lab's own branded number or a shared one, and we could not find a delivery-status view (sent → delivered → read) anywhere on their pages.
None of that means LabSmart doesn't work for the labs using it today. Plenty clearly do, given its "2,500+ labs" and "600+ Google reviews" claim. It means these are the specific, documented gaps that tend to show up once a lab has been running on it for a while: an annual bill that doesn't feel monthly, a doctor relationship that stops at visibility, and WhatsApp delivery you can't fully see the mechanics of.

How migration actually works
You are not required to migrate anything to start. Onboarding sets up your test catalogue, reference ranges, price list, doctor list and commission rules from the files you already have (your existing rate card, your test list, your doctor and commission sheet), the same way that data exists in LabSmart today, just rebuilt in HealthFlow. There is no requirement to export or untangle your LabSmart database first.
If you want your past patient and report history from LabSmart searchable inside HealthFlow too, that's available as a paid data migration from Rs 9,999, scoped to how much history you want carried over. Because there's no legacy export blocking you, most labs are billing patients and sending their first WhatsApp report on HealthFlow within the same week onboarding starts, while their LabSmart subscription, if still active, simply runs alongside until they're ready to stop paying for it.
Is LabSmart ever the better choice?
Sometimes, yes. It would be dishonest to say otherwise. As of July 2026, LabSmart's homepage states "2,500+ labs," "600+ Google reviews" and a 4.9 average rating: a genuinely large, compounding trust asset built over years that a newer platform like HealthFlow cannot claim today. Their pricing page also lists named human support staff reachable by phone and Google Meet, a 7-day money-back guarantee, and a "Diagnostic Center" tier that bundles pathology billing with imaging (USG, X-ray, CT, MRI, ECG) under one login. If a large public review count matters most to you, or your lab runs imaging billing alongside pathology, or you can comfortably prepay a year up front for the lowest entry price, those are legitimate reasons to stay. We are on an annual LabSmart plan. Can we switch before it renews?
Yes. As of July 2026, LabSmart's own pricing page bills its Basic plan annually (₹4,999 + GST/year) or half-yearly, despite the "₹417/month" figure it shows for estimation. So most labs on LabSmart are mid-way through a paid term at any given point. HealthFlow itself is billed month-to-month with no lock-in, so there is no annual commitment to time your move around on our side.
Will our referring doctors notice a difference?
They should notice the payout, not just the login. As of July 2026, LabSmart's public site describes a "Doctor portal" giving referring doctors real-time access to their own cases, useful for trust, but we could not find any commission-calculation or payout-settlement feature described on their pages.
