Switching from CrelioHealth to HealthFlow

If your lab is on CrelioHealth and the annual contract, the onboarding fee or the gap between "tracking referrals" and "actually paying them out" is what's pushing you to look elsewhere, this is the migration built for that move. No lock-in to match your existing lock-in: just a 10-day trial, an onboarding pass on your existing files, and a go-live date you choose.

In short

As of July 2026, CrelioHealth's published India pricing runs ₹8,000 to ₹25,000+/mo plus 18% GST, on an annual contract with a separate ₹10,000 to ₹50,000 onboarding fee and no self-serve trial found on their site. HealthFlow's plans (₹399 to ₹1,999/mo) are month-to-month, with no onboarding fee, no lock-in, and a 10-day free trial to try before you commit to anything. Moving over does not require your CrelioHealth data to migrate itself: onboarding rebuilds your test catalogue, reference ranges, price list, doctor list and commission rules from your existing files, and a full-history data migration is available separately from Rs 9,999 if you want past records searchable inside HealthFlow too.

What you're leaving behind

CrelioHealth is a capable, established platform. This isn't about it being bad software. It's about what its own public pricing and product pages, read plainly, commit you to. Their India pricing page (creliohealth.com/in/lab-software/lims-pricing/, seen July 2026) lists Standard at ₹8,000/mo, Advanced at ₹15,000/mo and Premium at ₹25,000/mo, each plus 18% GST, each with a separate one-time onboarding fee of ₹10,000 to ₹50,000, and each on what the page itself calls an annual contract basis where "plan tier cannot be changed mid-contract year." Their top Enterprise tier is a custom quote, and no self-serve free trial appears on their India pricing page: every CTA is "Request Demo," "Schedule Premium Demo" or "Contact Enterprise Sales."

The other thing you're likely leaving behind is a referral workflow that stops at visibility. CrelioHealth's own description of its provider portal (creliohealth.com/solutions/provider-portal/) covers test booking, report access, patient history and prescription upload for referring doctors: real, useful features. We could not find any language on their site about the portal calculating a commission or running a settlement. If your lab is still reconciling doctor commissions by hand every month despite having CrelioHealth's provider portal switched on, that's the specific gap this migration closes.

What you gain

  • A Pay-Run that settles, not just tracks. On plans above the entry plan, HealthFlow computes each referral commission the moment a test is billed and settles every referring doctor, consultant, collection centre and outside lab in a single run, with a WhatsApp payslip and an exportable statement. See how the Pay-Run works.
  • A referring-doctor portal. Doctors log in to see the reports and referral activity of the patients they referred, on plans above the entry plan: their own window into their own referrals, not a call to your front desk to ask.
  • WhatsApp delivery from your own number. Reports and bills send from a dedicated WhatsApp number set up for your lab, tracked sent → delivered → read. Read more on how WhatsApp report delivery works.
  • White-label branding. On plans above the entry plan, your letterhead, WhatsApp sending identity and patient-facing QR report page all carry your lab's own name, not a generic template.
  • Transparent, month-to-month pricing. Plans (₹399 to ₹1,999/mo), published in full, no separate onboarding fee, no annual lock-in. See the full pricing page.
  • A 10-day free trial. Run it on your own tests and your own referrers before deciding anything, rather than sitting through a sales demo and signing a contract sight-unseen.

How the migration actually works

There's no requirement to export anything out of CrelioHealth before you start. Onboarding builds your working system from the files you already have: your test catalogue, your rate card, your reference ranges, your doctor list and whatever commission rules you already apply: the same inputs regardless of which system you're moving from. That's what "onboarding" means here: your lab's own operating details, set up from your own files, not a generic template you customise yourself.

Most labs run HealthFlow and CrelioHealth in parallel for a short stretch: new patients and bills go into HealthFlow from a go-live date you choose, while CrelioHealth stays available as a reference until you're confident in the new system, then gets switched off (or left to lapse at contract renewal, if you're still inside the annual term). Nothing about this requires downtime at the counter. Our guide to switching lab software without downtime covers the mechanics of that parallel-run period in more depth, and our migration checklist lays out the steps end to end.

If you want your past patients and report history from CrelioHealth searchable inside HealthFlow rather than left behind in the old system, that's a separate, optional, paid data migration starting from Rs 9,999, scoped to how much history you want carried over. Plenty of labs skip this entirely and simply start clean from go-live, keeping CrelioHealth as a read-only archive for anything older.

Is CrelioHealth ever the better choice?

Sometimes, yes. And it's worth saying so plainly rather than pretending otherwise. CrelioHealth's own site claims far larger scale ("2,500+ Lab Businesses Worldwide"), third-party security certifications (HIPAA, ISO 27001:2013, SOC 2, GDPR, per creliohealth.com/in/), bundled multi-instrument analyzer integration built into every published tier, and audit tooling positioned around NABL ISO 15189 and NABH, per their own blog. If you run a large multi-branch chain that specifically needs that certification profile, that analyzer bundling, or dedicated accreditation-audit tooling today, CrelioHealth's own site positions it for exactly that range, and switching away from it may cost you more than it saves. The full, sourced comparison covers every dimension side by side, including where they are genuinely ahead.

Frequently asked questions

We are mid-way through a CrelioHealth annual contract. Can we still switch?

You can start on HealthFlow at any point: the 10-day free trial and onboarding do not depend on your CrelioHealth contract ending. Per CrelioHealth's own India pricing page (creliohealth.com/in/lab-software/lims-pricing/, seen July 2026), their plans run on an annual contract basis where "plan tier cannot be changed mid-contract year." So leaving before renewal is a question for your CrelioHealth agreement, not for HealthFlow. Many labs run both in parallel for a short period, then let the CrelioHealth contract lapse at renewal instead of paying to break it early.

Will we lose our patient history and past reports when we switch?

Nothing is lost automatically, but nothing moves over by itself either: you decide what to bring. Most labs start fresh in HealthFlow from a go-live date forward and keep CrelioHealth (or an export from it) as the read-only archive for anything historical. If you want past patients and report history searchable inside HealthFlow itself, that is available as a paid data migration from Rs 9,999, scoped to how far back you want it to go.

Does HealthFlow do everything CrelioHealth does?

No, and we would rather say that plainly than oversell it. CrelioHealth's own site claims larger scale ("2,500+ labs worldwide"), third-party security certifications, bundled multi-instrument analyzer integration, and audit tooling positioned around NABL/NABH (all per their public site, July 2026), real strengths for a large multi-branch chain and areas HealthFlow does not match today. What HealthFlow does instead: transparent month-to-month pricing with no onboarding fee, a 10-day free trial, a referring-doctor portal (both on plans above the entry plan), and a Pay-Run that actually settles doctor commissions rather than only tracking referrals.
