What is a normal hemoglobin level?
For adults, a commonly used reference range is 13.5 to 17.5 g/dL for men and 12.0 to 15.5 g/dL for women. Labs vary slightly by method, so always check the range printed on your own report. A low or high flag on its own isn’t a diagnosis: it needs to be read alongside your symptoms and history by a doctor.
What is a normal WBC (white blood cell) count?
A standard adult reference range is 4,000 to 11,000 cells per microliter (µL), the same for men and women. A high or low count can point to many different things, from a common infection to something that needs further tests, so it should always be interpreted by a doctor alongside the rest of your CBC and how you’re feeling.
What is a normal platelet count?
A standard adult reference range is 150,000 to 450,000 platelets per microliter (µL), the same for men and women. This checker only flags whether your number falls inside that range; it can’t tell you why a value is off, and that reading belongs to your doctor.
