How is my exact age calculated?
From your date of birth to today’s date, counted the way a calendar counts: a full year only once the month and day have both passed, then whole months, then the remaining days. It is not total days divided by 365, which drifts because months and years are not a fixed length.
Why might another age calculator show a different age by a day?
Small tools disagree on whether the date of birth itself counts as day zero or day one, and on how they handle month-end dates like the 29th to 31st. This tool uses a standard calendar-difference method: years, then months, then the leftover days against today’s date.
Is my date of birth stored or sent anywhere?
No. The calculation runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Nothing you enter here is stored, logged or sent to any server.
