The gateway link doesn't change channel to channel. The QR printed on the bill, the QR on the printed report, and the link a lab sends on WhatsApp are the same link, opening the same gateway. What a scan proves, and what it doesn't

Every open of the gateway is written to the report's audit trail, alongside every other action on that report, kept for two years. That's useful for a lab that wants to know a report was actually viewed. It isn't the same as knowing who viewed it: the gateway logs the access, not the identity of whoever is holding the phone.
